Women’s Travel Revolution 2025: How Greether Is Empowering Solo Female Travelers & Women Traveling Together

Female travelers gathering in the Women's Travel Revolution by Greether in Andaz London

Traveling as a woman should feel safe, exciting, and empowering, whether you’re exploring solo, traveling with your girlfriends, or adventuring with your child. And this is exactly what Greether was created for.

Greether connects women travelers with verified local female Greeter guides in over 100 countries and 1,000+ cities, offering personalized, safety-focused, and culturally rich travel experiences. Every Greeter is a local woman who helps travelers feel more confident, supported, and connected long before the trip even begins.

On November 5th, 2025, Greether brought that mission to life in London.

Nearly 50 incredible women creators, founders, journalists, innovators, digital nomads, and lifelong wanderers gathered at the iconic Andaz London Liverpool Street for Women’s Travel Revolution, an evening built to celebrate and empower women who travel.

It wasn’t just an event.
It felt like a movement.

Why Women’s Travel Revolution Matters More Than Ever

Today, more women are traveling alone or with other women, yet safety concerns, lack of trusted resources, and fear of the unknown still hold many back.

Women’s Travel Revolution was created to address exactly that.

The evening sparked meaningful conversations around:

  • Safety for solo female travelers

  • Visibility and leadership for women in travel

  • Female-led storytelling

  • Sustainable travel that supports local women

  • Community as a tool for confident travel

Everything centered on one shared belief:
When women travel supported, we travel more boldly.

The Perfect Setting: Andaz London’s Warm, Stylish Energy

Hosted at Andaz London Liverpool Street, one of the city’s most historic yet modern hotels, the atmosphere was magical from the moment guests walked in.

The venue blended 19th-century architecture with contemporary design, warm lighting, artistic details, and a sense of sophistication that matched the energy in the room. Andaz’s hospitality set the tone for an evening centered on connection and female leadership in the travel world.
